This is a composite photograph of the old and new Steephill Falls Power Plants. The old dam was much lower than the present one. The old power station burnt down a number of years ago. The new dam and power station was built in the 1990's.

This is the view of the Badlands from the top of the Steephill Falls Dam taken July 2004. The Badlands was the result of the Sulfur dioxide plume from the Sinter Plant that killed all the vegetation.
