This is a photo of the original Helen Mine site on the south side of Boyer Lake taken August 20 1937. It shows the workings on left side of the photo and the abandoned buildings from the 1900 to 1919 mining period.

This photo taken in 1949, shows the Dewatering Pump Station in the middle of what is left of Boyer Lake. The water from Boyer Lake was pumped under the railway into Sayer Lake.

his is a composite picture taken about 1952. It shows the backside of the mine property. In the foreground, there is the remains of Boyer Lake which was pumped out, exposing the bottom. The lake shoreline can be seen on the left side of the picture. On the right is the rail car loading facility and the conveyor gantry to it.

This is the Helen Mine open pit.

This is a view of the construction of the Sink-Float plant in 1946 at the mine site. It remained in service until it was replaced by a new facility at the Sinter Plant.
