This picture was taken from Third Avenue overlooking Queens Park. The park looked a little ragged but it was not fully cleared by 1961.
This was taken August 2001 at approximately the same location as the previous picture and shows the changes that have occurred over the decades.
I often took pictures for the Yearbook. I tried to get as many people and events as I could. Pictured here is Ahti Koski.
This was taken in one of my Chemistry classes. The person in the glasses is Orville Whitney, and the fellow at the sink is Rod Morrison. The girl facing the camera is thought to be Linda Tufford.
I took this picture near the end of the school in 1962. The girl on the left is Eva Blanchette and the girl on the right is Phyllis Graham. The fellow looking out the doorway is Dennis Garrood.
Teachers weren't even immune to my picture taking. This is Mr. Purificati. He taught at MHS for a short time before taking a position in Sudbury.
This was taken on one of the many of the team trips to either, Marathon, Terrace Bay, Schrieber, or Manitouwadge. If you see yourself in this picture, please let me know.
This is Girls Volleyball Team playing at a inter-school meet. I think that this was in Manitouwadge.
I'm not sure where this picture was taken. The players from left to right are Willard Dann, Ted Purnis and Karl Koros.
This is Stan Nowicki.
This is Ahti Koski (left) and my brother-in-law, Martin Rodger (right) jamming at my place in Wawa.
This was a school outing to the High Falls Generating Station. From left to right is Carol Pauli, Ken Lee (teacher), Linda Ryan, Unknown, and Alan Morris.
This is a picture of the High Falls Generating Station as it was in May 1963.
This is a picture of the class. I won't name anyone, but if you recognize yourself, please let me know.
This is what Michipicoten High School looked like in 1963.
This is Willard Dann, who was on the "Vikings" Basketball Team. Willard was determining game strategy when this picture was taken.
It appears that all the strategy that was displayed, came to fruition. Willard is holding the trophy that the Vikings" had won.
This picture was taken on August 1979, by Mike Rousseau. It shows some of the alumni that participated in the 25th MHS Anniversary Picnic in Queen's Park.
This photo was taken of MHS in the winter of 1961/62. It shows the usual accumulation of snow that Wawa gets.
